Sometimes the quickest and easiest way to get rid of 'souvenir add-ons/scripts/modules' (and of subsequent Kodi issues), is to go for a fully new/clean Kodi setup. Kodi add-ons work unrestricted, so these files can reside anywhere on your system.

I am on a steep, rapid learning curve of Kodi. That in combination with Android TV.
