When you go back into kodi the video does not show the group.
I don’t think the action of switching groups from the left nav window should be any different. But maybe it is.
If you use the guide window to switch group instead does that work?

Sorry, phunkyfish. Don't know why it got cut like that.
Did a new one: 3 tries that time.
At first it opens with "ARD" group, wherever that comes from. Not used this group in the last time.
Second: "All channels"
Third: "All channels"
It does not save my change to: "Favoriten" group....
Does not help when doing in the guide window.

Is this your own M3U file? Or is iptvsimple populated by some addon?

Its from tvheadend addon. Was working in 19.0

If it worked in 19.0 it should work in 19.1.
Can you try one of the test builds for Android here: https://jenkins.kodi.tv/job/BuildMulti-PR/19755/
Just click the correct android type and download the package.
The PR it is built from here: https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/20013 just adds some extra logging that might help us track down the issue. It you supply the full DEBUG log after trying the build I can look at it.

Ok, based on your log the very first thing that happens after boot is the last opened time for all channels is updated. The last thing that is updated is your favourites group. I think that if you looked at your TV.db you would see that the group with the latest lastOpened time is Favourites. But then after startup All channels is updated to a later time which causes it to open first.
@ksooo anything you can think of that would cause this behaviour to change between 19.0 and 19.1?

Okay, but I can't do anything to that updating times.
I closed KODI after changing to favourites and started it again. When does all channels gets updated and causes to open that first? After closing and reopening KODI? If yes, I cannot do anything which prevents that update??

What happens if you wait until the "PVR loading" messages in the upper right corner disappear before you open some PVR window? In you video it seems you are opening those windows while PVR is still loading.

@lama0900 could you also try a kodi nightly for master? Right now the binary addons are the same between master and Matrix.
It looks like this was introduced between 19.0 and 19.1. It’s possible (but unlikely) whatever the cause is not in master.
