The first option I would choose for now. Even though this requires additional translation updates once we have a minimum iOS target of 13.0 or higher.

not quite sure what you mean by additional translation updates: once minimum iOS becomes 13 (or higher), the footer should simply be deleted as the setting will work for all supported OS versions.

regarding the minimum iOS, we could raise it to 12 to still support iPhone 6/6+ (all devices that can run 11 can also run 12). Don't see much reason to drop those devices tbh.
