Hello,
since Jan 16, 2021 Kodi 18.9 stopped playing TV channels on both of my devices (Windows and LibreElec).
After a while I found that the last update to PVR IPTV Simple addon introduced a 'User-Agent' field on the M3U page which is by default empty. After I set that to 'VLC' all channels play again
Unfortunately this did not work for self-created STRM files imported to the video library, but reverting Kodi to 18.8 and the last version of PVR IPTV Simple addon solved that problem too.
