Hi all. I have just installed 19.1 on a new PC. Every PC I have used in the past has worked fine. But this one has a very laggy mouse in the UI. Once watching a video, the mouse is completely fine for using the video controls.
But everywhere outside of a video (or when in the audio or other settings within a video) the mouse is extremely laggy.
Any thoughts?

I am using Windows 10, no extra virus protection, just what comes with W10. And no VPN as of yet.
Intel Core 2 Quad
8GB RAM
So an older but reasonably specced machine.

Likely some background task is in play, suggest running process explorer and turning off network discovery. Turn off scanning on start just in case you have some corrupt listing or archive; check this post.

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.
4.Upload the log to Kodi Paste Site manually or use the Kodi Logfile Uploader. (wiki) With either method post the link to the log back here.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file (wiki)

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.
