Hi,
I moved from Android to Pinephone, and I was missing Kore, so I knocked up a remote for Gnome.
It does the basics, you can't browse media, but you can press basic remote buttons. Uses TCP connection, no password support yet. Forward and rewind don't work, and the OK command is somehow subtly different to whatever my physical remote is doing, because I can't use it while watching something to bring up the menu bar at the bottom with timeline, play, stop etc.
Anyway, here is the code, if anyone wants to help.

Flatpak builds for desktop and Pinephone/Librem5.
