#1
Hello,

I hope somebody can help me.

I installed a newer version of kodi but when i am trying to open kodi i have to click open and then i get a problem report.

What i found was that I have to allow to install all programs outside the app store. Thats allowed but still this problem.

can somebody help me?

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

The instructions are here... debug log (wiki)

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.
4.Upload the log to Kodi Paste Site manually or use the Kodi Logfile Uploader. (wiki) With either method post the link to the log back here.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file (wiki)

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Use the Kodi Paste Site. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum

You can press the i button in the editor's menu bar. It will automagically upload your picture and link it in your text editor.

no useful info in the crashlog, that's strange...

try this: open Terminal app, paste in it:
Quote:/Applications/Kodi.app/Contents/MacOS/Kodi
press Return, then post all the text that appeared after the crash.

@Zapper1971 When you link to the URL of a log file, there is no need to also paste it directly into the forum. We like to run a tidy ship here. Thanks.

thanks. Seems you have some database issue on that user:
Quote:SQL: [Addons33.db] SQLite error SQLITE_ERROR (no such table: version)
I can only suggest to delete the broken database, for that run the following in Terminal:
Quote:rm -f ~/Library/Application\ Support/Kodi/userdata/Database/Addons33.db
(again paste this text and press Return). After that Kodi should hopefully start normally.
