Ever since I upgraded to Matrix, I've had a problem with screenshot and bookmark thumbnails. Newly created screenshots & bookmark thumbnails would always come out as a black image.
I recently did some research into the issue on the LibreELEC forum and found out that the problem is related to DRM and that they will not have a fix until Kodi version 20 at the earliest.
I went into settings->video and turned off "Allow using DRM PRIME decode", rebooted and found that the setting has resolved the problem. I can now see screnshots and bookmark thumbnails that I create.
One warning though: If you are using an addon that requires DRM, you will need to re-enable DRM in the settings.
