"Command Failed" when trying to create new Timer Rules
#1
Hi,

I've had Timer Rules set up for a while, but some of the Keyword ones seem to have stopped working. When looking into the problem I found that I'm getting errors when trying to create new timers.

All I want to be able to do is set up a few timers using Keyword (Advanced) searches on the Titles only.

If I try to create a Keyword (Advanced) timer like I want, it says it's activated but doesn't actually schedule anything, despite there being matches I can see in the Guide. If I then try to change it to a Keyword (Repeating) timer, it gives an error when saving: ERROR <general>: AddTimer: Add-on 'NextPVR:192.168.1.11' returned an error: the command failed. This is shown in the first log: https://paste.kodi.tv/ihehirucug.kodi

If I create a timer as a Keyword (Repeating) first, it works fine (but searches all Guide data, instead of just the Titles). If I try to then change this working timer to a Keyword (Advanced), I get the same error. This is shown in the second log: https://paste.kodi.tv/eminihefet.kodi

I'm using Kodi 19.4 with NPVR 6.1.1 backend on Windows 10

Thanks!

Yes that is a bug, seems the radio button doesn't seem to do what it should.  I'll check on it.

If you want to test a prerelease it is available from the Kodi build system https://jenkins.kodi.tv/blue/organizatio.../artifacts  It's only a bug because I had forgotten to implement the title helper function completely.  This is probably not used much since advanced queries are much easier to create using the local NextPVR web pages where you can easily filter title, subtitle and description and you can test it first.  Check the More Option button next time you are there.
