AI upscaling in kodi, is it possible?

to the devs:

• you can create an ai model,
  
• train the model using all the video/images database publicly available on internet
  
• apply the ai upscaling to the current video being played in kodi

Yeah, Kodi on the Shield can even use this feature like anything using the hardware decode pipeline, right?

I mean, I've wanted this for my other Kodi machines too, but I know it's not up to the Kodi devs, it's more wondering why nVidia doesn't have this as a hardware video scaler option on their desktop GPUs when they have far, far, far more hardware resources available.
