I know this is a stupid problem, but it's driving me crazy. Somehow I've enabled a setting to *always* display the current chapter just below the video. I've searched everywhere and can't figure out how I did this or where I can turn it off. Any help?

I've figured it out. I had subtitles to always be enabled, which apparently means that the chapter displays if there is no subtitle file. Weird.

What sort of files are you dealing with here? Is there a subtitle track in them with the chapter info in it, or can you switch to different subtitles?
