XBMC Crashes Playing HD video
#1
Hey Guys,

I keep having this issue with XBMC where it crashes every time I play Planet Earth at 1080p.
I can get it to work if I open up the case... I'm guessing this is an over heating issue but it seems not to be because nothing physically feels to hot. I changed my nvidea 7300 passively cooled (Stole it from a mac) for a HD 3450. Again doesn't seem to hot to the touch but I still have the crashing issue.
Any ideas?

Thanks

does the same video play fine in VLC? Do other 1080p video's crash xbmc or just that one?

make sure you are using a current build
I'm not an expert but I play one at work.

Alright. I have the current build. I just attempted to play it using mplayer and it also crashed. I'm guessing something is overheating. Checked my CPU temp in the BIOS post crash and it was at roughly 65... not sure what to do. But if I take the top off of my enclosure it doesn't crash...
The case is well ventilated. 2 80mm in the back and 2 120mm in the front..

lame...
