When I use Vista Media Center or Mediaportal, I have actually nice 5.1 sound on my Logitech 5.1 analog speaker-set. With XBMC there is almost no sound at all in the rear speakers, seems like it just isn't 5.1

I did play with digital/analog output, but it doesn't help. Is there a solution, since it's kinda like the only reason I don't use XBMC as default yet.

You have to activate analog multichannel output in xbmkc's advacedsettings.xml, but so far the channel matching is completely mixed up in the windows version, depending on what speaker setup you use.

So..I guess it will sound screwed up when I activate this setting ?
