Hi!
I've just installed latest xbmc on my kubuntu. Looks nice but I'm not sure what should I set there to be able to watch a movie in:
1. maximized window
2. fullscreen
There is some screen settings in Appearance menu but I don't know what should I set there. The problems are:
1. when I start a movie in the windowed mode, for example with maximized window the subtitles are shown in the center of my screen (I've tried to calibrate screen but it changes nothing)
2. when I set resolution to fullscreen xbmc goes somewhere right and almost disappears from my viewport.
My hardware is a laptop with nvidia card, and 2 screens - laptop's one and 19' lcd monitor. I use xinerama. I suppose that xbmc doesn't work in fullscreen mode because of xinerama, but it shouldn't have any meaning for windowed mode.
