[RELEASE] GameTrailers (Video) Plugin
#91
This plugin used to work GREAT for me, even preferring its layout over the HD one. Plus this plug-in still lit me view content in HD if I wanted to. However, this past month I started noticing that no videos load/playSad

BTW, my log file can be found here-http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1721076/xbmc.log

The plugin is working. It's just that gametrailers have been blocking of content for certain events recently (first e3 content and seemingly now comic con content). everything else still plays.

I don't know if there a fix for the blocked content.

I would actually rather see an add-on version of this plugin as is, so i can start using svn again. (I won't migrate until at least this plugin has an add on version and I seem to be to stupid to figure out how to do it myself).

From the log file I see you are using FLV format - while you can feel free to log a Trac ticket and raise the playback issue with Team XBMC, I would suggest using the plugin settings and trying Quicktime and WMV formats as well.

@milenko79
Please log a request for an addon here, it's easier for me to track those on the Google page rather than here, thanks.

1) i can't comment on Flash, look at your xbmc.log and you might see XBMC complains, not my area.
2) For search I use the advanced search feature on the website.

3) If there's a web URL I can use, I might put it in...
off) I can't recommend really, you have to try it on. I'd recommend sticking to Standard Definition (plugin settings). Try avoiding the HD videos - press O and look at the video code and size and all, sorry that's all I can recommend...

1. Here is the log. http://pastebin.com/Ca4wW0E6 It's not from HTPC machine, but problem is the same here. As i can see it's not yours problem, yes, because URL plays nicely in browser. How the hell XBMC don't support flv?

2. Sorry for blaming you then. What a weird search system.

3. You can use search for games and then click on the game name link. Then you get all videos of that game.

off) i have solved it by lowering XBMC resolution. Now it's smooth and fast Smile

1. Look at lines 114 to 124... Might be fixed in the new Dharma, no idea...

3. Mmm, it requires two accesses, once for the games search and then the game page itself - it seems doable, will see. Free free to log a ticket on my repository, might get done sometime in the future...

off) good for you :-)
