hi!
first i want to say thanks for the good work you are doing!! :kickass:
using encspot i analysed the mp3s xbmc ripping produced and was happy to see, you are using lame, but with cust. settings(192kbs/cbr)! would it be possible to use the ha forum 'list of recommended lame settings', found here?
would be great if we could choose between
--alt-preset standard (~190 kbit/s, typical 180 ... 220)
--alt-preset fast standard (~190 kbit/s, faster but potentially lower quality)
--alt-preset extreme (~250 kbit/s, typical 220 ... 270)
--alt-preset fast extreme (~250 kbit/s, faster but potentially lower quality)
--alt-preset insane (320 kbit/s cbr, highest possible quality)
generally the ha forum is a valuable source for many things regarding audio technology, so perhaps there could be some input to the xbmc project!
