Problem installing babylon on 64-bit Vista
#1
Hello,
I tried to search and I am somehow confused that I found no answers. When I try to install the latest babylon release of XBMC on my 64-bit Vista I immideatly get a warning about "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running..."

What has happened here? Atlantis installed just fine under the program files (x86).

:confused2:

Found this on MSDN Support, "However, the kernel does not support 16-bit applications, 32-bit installers, and 32-bit kernel mode drivers. "

Was the old Atlantis installer different? because that one worked flawlessly.

Nope no differences and a few users in this forum are using Vista 64 Bit just fine with XBMC. Maybe they can help ...
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first.

I've never had that error message and I've installed many SVN versions on my two Vists x64 machines. You might want to give one of them stickied on top a try.
