How to Seperate Movies, TV Shows & Videos?
#1
Hi,

Great Skin! BTW.

I'm having trouble seperating the three media types. If I add source, Movies in Movies TV Shows in TV Show And Videos in Videos. The Videos section seems to take on either the Movies or TV Shows.

I have three shares added to each section. Check the Sources.xml below. Huh

<sources>
<programs>
<default pathversion="1"></default>
</programs>
<video>
<default pathversion="1">-=VIDEOS=-</default>
<source>
<name>-=MOVIES=-</name>
<path pathversion="1">smb://FILESERVER/Shared Media/-=MOVIES=-/</path>
</source>
<source>
<name>-=TV=-</name>
<path pathversion="1">smb://FILESERVER/Shared Media/-=TV=-/</path>
</source>
<source>
<name>-=VIDEOS=-</name>
<path pathversion="1">smb://FILESERVER/Shared Media/-=VIDEOS=-/</path>
</source>
</video>
<music>
<default pathversion="1"></default>
<source>
<name>-=MP3=-</name>
<path pathversion="1">smb://FILESERVER/Shared Media/-=MP3=-/</path>
</source>
</music>
<pictures>
<default pathversion="1"></default>
<source>
<name>-=PICTURES=-</name>
<path pathversion="1">smb://FILESERVER/Shared Media/-=PICTURES=-/</path>
</source>
</pictures>
<files>
<default pathversion="1"></default>
</files>
</sources>

this is intended function.

There used to be only one menu, videos and from there you could access tv shows or movies.

People asked for tv shows and movies to be moved directly to the home page but the video button still exists if you want it.

What most people do is enable all of them and use the setting to set video button to file mode.

This way there is easy access to movies, tv shows and files which are not in the library.
