Scraping/Naming convention for Married with Children
#1
Trying to scrape to XBMC with thetvdb, can't seem to get the right name for the folder or files

What works?

I think the commas in the title are stopping it, but, could not get it added to the library without them either

Thank you,

MR

Sorry, are you asking for a bug report?

Figured it was just a comma out of place.

What more can I add, did not mean to ask anything out of line

You didn't ask anything out of line. You just didn't read the stickies which tell you the information to provide to get a problem resolved.

Ok, this box is using the version of XBMC compiled Sept 1, 2008, pre - 2.1 on a xbox

pastebin

I am updating the library after adding a new folder to the normal file path,

TV Shows/Married... with Children/Married With Children.01e04

tried it with and without the commas, no joy. It is fine in file mode, adds the fanart and banner, show info

well, upgraded, found it not working as smooth, went back to this box with the old version, I know that is not the right answer

I will try it on my box with the newest version, see what I get

Thank you for looking,

I actually didn't look. But the scrapers and XBMC have changed so much since that version (as well as the websites themselves) that it would be impossible to troubleshoot it using the version you are using.

If you still have an issue with the new version, make sure to provide the new debug log.

Hmm.. I thought vdrfan fixed something similar recently. Unfortunately, the version you are using may not be new enough to have the fix.

I would tell you to update to a "nightly xbmc build" but you are on Xbox and the status of XBMC on Xbox is kind of iffy right now.

You could try to rename your directory and see if that helps (so it doesn't have ...).

The scraper is returning the correct show (76385)
Do other TV shows work?

What happens if you go to file mode and press info on one of the episodes?

Other shows work, update episodes to the library, all that.

In file mode I have fanart and a banner for this series, which were scraped, I guess, but, no, the individual episodes to not have details when I check them.
