Is there a way to get the video player to seek to a specific time? I have one video file with a small amount of damage at one point and the player stops at that point. If I could seek just past that point, I can play the rest of the video.

Just type while the video is playing in hh:mm format. Works with remote as well, you'll see a dialog. Seek occurs once you've typed all four digits.

I see the pop up show in the corner as I type the time, but after entering all four digits, the pop up disappears and the video plays uninterrupted. What am I doing wrong?

Pastebin a full debug log of the failure occurring. It could be broken for some codecs. I only tried with xvid before replying.

That explains it, then. This was an X.264 stream. Thanks for replying.
