Audio crackling on certain films.

I've got a number of films that the video plays fine, but all audio is replaced by a rapid clicking sound..

I've run the playback in debug mode, log available below.

I'm running XBMC live on an Acer Revo, connected to TV via hdmi.

Other older avi and iso's play fine, but more recent ones all seem to play with this audio issue, I'm guessing its an encoding/decoding issue. ?!

The same avi/iso's will play on XMBC on my windows box, but not the XBMCLive revo.

Any help/suggestions greatly apprreciated.
Thanks.

When I encounter this problem, I find that switching my audio from Digital to Analog solves it. I'm not technical enough to tell you why, but this is how you can fix it.

What are your audio settings? Looks like the movie is using ac3 which your tv wont be able to decode.

AC3 and DTS capable receiver should be uncheck and downmix multi-channel to stereo should be enabled if connecting direct to your tv.
