i'm getting a little bit confused lately with the “loading media info from files” dialog.
this dialog appears all the time when:
i enter i play list
quit a visualization back to play list
shuffle a play list
since i use large play list it take very, very long each time for this dialog to finish reading the file info. i tried to disable this (no id3 tag's info, no shuffle play lists on load etc but nothing helps. since i always make a scan of my music library overnight this dialog is unneeded and very irritating. in xbmc v 1.0 i remember it also took long to open folder but when read id3 tag's info was disabled it works, a dialog scanning play lists was fortunately not there. i really wonder what is the use of this dialog, and how can i disable it
