I'm looking for something that highlights the different media available in the videos section - as to differentiate it from the Movies section. My videos section contains multiple types of video like netflix, hulu, concerts, youtubute, pixar shorts etc.... so i was looking for a generic background that didn't make it seem like there were feature movies in the section.

What about something like this, you could change the pictures on the TV, netfilx, youtube, etcetc if you wanted.

Do a search on Google for images only...and use their ability to filter by size to get the sizes you need. I find that incredibly helpful for finding the right images at the right size.

I'm in the process of setting up xbmc on my media center too (windows 7 pc) and I've been looking for good backdrops as well.

May be sports focused but I don't really mind that myself since I don't watch sports...just says "Video" to me. I like the video control room idea for a video backdrop.

I ended up using a different image and customizing it for myself:

1920x1080

Not a perfect customization...but it's good enough for me. If anyone wants to take a stab at cleaning it up...feel free...I'd love to see the results.

Cookie to whoever can name where the 3 lcd images came from (3 separate sources) and what they have in common.

It seems like finding unique backgrounds for different sections of XBMC is proving quite challenging! You never know what to search, and most pictures are low res. Once you do find some good ones though, like the ones included with Confluence, after a while seeing the same pictures gets old though. I guess thats why Aeon cycles through fanart, so they dont have this problem.
