I've added support for the Windows Media Center remote to the Camelot Beta 2 release. You can get the modified version here:

Note that the URL is case sensitive.
The zip includes installation instructions and details on the modification.
Strictly speaking this isn't the Beta 2 release as it's build 25515, but it's pretty close. Don't use this release for bug checking. Use the official Beta 2 build instead. This is just for checking your MCE remote still works.
Given the tangled mess that is the Windows remote control world, let me clarify exactly what my modification does. It makes XBMC respond to the standard Microsoft Media Center keyboard shortcuts like ctrl-shift-P for Play and ctrl-shift-S for stop. So your remote will work with my build of XBMC as long as it sends these shortcuts. If you have an official MS remote you need to reprogram it to send the keyboard shortcuts not IR codes; see http://www.ratsauce.plus.com/mceremote.zip for details. The cheap clone remotes usually send the MCE shortcuts.
