I have a problem with my receiver, a yamaha rx-v661. This receiver reports no 24hz support to xbmc. If i connect the hdmi from the pc directly to the tv, everything is fine and i get 24hz.

Is there a way to force xbmc to use recognize 24hz if i connect it to the receiver, so i can see if the receiver works with 24hz ?

I use windows 7.

no, you have to get windows7 to accept 24hz.. we can't set it to anything that isn't supported.
