This is probably a very rudimentary question, but I don't know what I did so maybe someone can help.
I softmodded my xbox, installed xbmc, and setup the smb option and had a few folders being streamed to my xbox. No troubles, life was good.
This morning I wanted to get on and set up a couple more folders to stream. I set them up to be shared on my pc (like before) and saw them listed on xbox under "sources" (like before).
But at this point, while trying to load my music folder, I restarted the xbox (I thought it had frozen, perhaps the large music file was taking some time to load), and when I restarted xbmc, I now have no connection to my network or anything. As in, not getting an IP Address, can't connect through FTP.
The only other thing I changed since doing this was the "nickname" under Network options from WAR!!!!!!!! (was already like that) to my own name.
Anyway, anyone have an idea of what I did? I apologize if the info above is useless, just letting you know what I did.
I guess could someone walk me through reconnecting my xbox to my home network? Again I don't know what i did when it was working just yesterday.
Thanks for any help!
