i do all my rips using itunes and have a question.
i know that xbmc has to resample audio to 48khz before it can be played, and to my ears it seems to do a great job of it.
something i was wondering though, if i was to rip cds directly into 48khz using itunes, would this yield higher quality playback in xbmc (because the resample doesn't have to be conducted in realtime), or would there be no real advantage in doing this?

ssrc resampling (hq resampling) is probably better (or just as good) as the resampling itunes would have to do.
