All sorted and looking great - thank you !
I am using cdart manager with aeon mq5 on frodo, working pretty good. Still getting the hang of it. I noticed in my addons I have artwork organizer and artist slideshow. Do I use these along with cdart manager? Or do I even need them installed anymore? Thanks!

I'm fairly new to XBMC and in the process of ripping all my CDs through dbPoweramp and using cdART to pull the disc images etc in the skin. However, there seems to be a problem with one of my files and cdART hangs 'Retrieving All Local Artists - Artist ID 56' when updating the database. I've tried refreshing the add-on database, deleting the old one, but I still get the same. I've tried having a look through the debug log but can't work out which disc / album it is causing it.

I've posted the debug log here, if anyone's able to help.

I'm running XBMC through Crystalbuntu 2.0 on an original Apple TV.

Thanks in advance.

I've managed to track down what I think was causing the issue for me. I saw the Pendulum album 'Hold Your Colour' (2007 version) was one of the last ones mentioned in the debug log. I then noticed it has a track with an artist called $pyda - possibly the illegal character causing the freezing? I did a test by removing the album from my library, refreshed the cdART database and this time it went through fine Big Grin
Anyway this script can be run automatically?

Just updated the database, and it find 514 album artists and 1099 local disk (ive got more, but I guess that's what he found)
But when I press on album > automatic download
It find only cdart for 7 artists.
I can do all manual, but how can I fix that it will automatically work?

First time with this add-on & same issue. Gotham Alpha9, skin Aeon MQ5. Really looking forward to the potential of this add-on.
Win10x64 Pro. Intel Core2Duo E8500 3.26GHz on Gigabyte GA-EP43-UD3L. 4GB DDR2 1066MHz RAM. Nvidia GT240 512MB PCIx16. Multiple displays, including Sony VPL-XW5000ES 4k projector + 100" Da-Lite Cinema screen.

Are your files / albums properly tagged ? re run from scratch and upload a debug log for giftie to help you.
Not sure whether I was supposed to do this first, but selecting Advanced/Modify Addon Database/Refresh Addon Database did a very lenghty scan, then I was able to properly scan for fanart. Seems to be working great now. Thanks anyhow.

I just did a clean install of the latest openelec gotham nightly and it now shows the cdart manager add-on as incompatible.

Is there an easy fix or does it require an update for cdart manager?
A conclusion is the place where you got tired of thinking.

Although it seems like the Android versions are still failing to log failures properly.. I think it may be due to the PIL module missing in the Python Library. Not sure how to add it on the Android.
