I was kind of upset that Milkdrop wasn't included in the Linux (10.04 Ubuntu) XBMC. Is there a way to manually install milkdrop, and what would the steps be?

Milkdrop is DirectX only. Linux ver has Project-M instead.

Is there any chance of the team bringing back the planned version 2.0 of Project-M? Twas on the roadmap, but fell off and crashed at some point

Version 2.0 of Project-M had incomplete and broken OSX support. Please bug the Project-M devs to finish OSX support and then we can reconsider updating to it.
