I posted about my remote not working a while back and I found out the problem was the AEON skin, I am having similar problem with Transparency skin also, anyone else had this basically my IR dongle will go crazy and tay red not allowing me to receive any signal to move on the menu.

What's your CPU doing when your running those skins in true fullscreen is it very high Aeon is definitely a heavy skin maybe xbmc is using all your system resources with those skins so nothing else can function including the remote

Well I have an intel i5 750 Quad so I doubt it just reinstalled system and going to recompile XBMC for it ad see what it does then.

ok just finished and still the same old story no remote response in xbmc with skins such a Aeon.

my cpu usage i around 3 % so that's not the issue here that I can see
