It could degrade your audio.
If you using an optical or coax cable you will miss the surround sound, since those interface cant handle uncompressed multichannel audio (lcpm) because the high bitrate, so it will only be stereo.
An hdmi interface can handle multichannel lcpm, but i do not know if XBMC does.
BTW, the Dharma beta fucked up to, so no im back on my really old babylon release, were everthing works just fine. A little slow gui and im missing the new addon system, but i prefer to be able to se my movies correct.
I wonder if this could be related to the wake up after suspend problem many people have (windows)?
