that's the way it will Wink

@rflores2323 xbmc is most definitely definitely in the plans! The poll was more to gauge things that aren't as well integrated as xbmc is right now. There are certainly exciting things coming down the pipe for xbmc and trakt Wink

Is automatic syncing of new content in your xbmc library with trakt something that is coming in the near future? That is as far as I'm concerned the most pressing feature needed to make trakt on xbmc a complete experience.

Check out trakt utilities which does just that It requires a recent nightly build, but works for exactly what you are talking about.

is there a way to refresh info for a movie added by trakt?

eg. i added the following movie to TMDb...

http://trakt.tv/movie/underworld-beauty-0

but i forgot to add the year it was released before playing the movie. everything on TMDb has been updated but it still shows the movie as having "0" for the year. can it be rescanned or refreshed?

This movie has picked up its working title 'Civilization'. The orignal title is 'Hævnen' and has an English distribution title of 'In A Better World'. Could this movie be updated on the trakt site?

I'd like to suggest a profile option of being able to keep original titles (not using english titles). Is it possible with the data trakt is/has pulled?

We don't have a way for a rescrape to be triggered via the website. We'll look into adding that. For now, it is easy enough for me to do it if you provide the tmdb ID. I scraped the movie above so its now http://trakt.tv/movie/underworld-beauty-1958

Fixed the widget, .jpg (logo) or .tif (classic) work as file extensions.

i'm trying to have trakt import all my tv shows and movies in the library but i still don't quite understand. here's what i did, step by step. pleasetell me what i'm doing wrong...

- Downloaded the latest build of Php (PHP 5.3.6, VC9 x86 Non Thread Safe)

- Installed (duh)

- Downloaded the import script.

- Edited the trakt-import.php and add at the top xbmc username to trakt password (all in single quotes) eg define('Shinu', 'username');

- Opened the php.exe, typed in the location of the script.....and nothing happens.

I know i'm doing something wrong, but i'm just not sure what. can u help? i feel like such a n00b. Blush

The first post of this thread has instructions on how to use the php import script.

If you are able to use a nightly build of xbmc, then there is a new addon that will do this sync for you and works much better than the php script does. There is a full thread about that addon at http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=98582

finally got it to work thanx.

question: is there a way to have trakt not record what TV shows and movies i'm watching? sometimes i would just skip through a movie i've already seen in order to view certain scenes and i won't want the plugin to record it as watched. maybe have it not initialize when playing the video from the "play" option in the VideoInfo screen? just a though.

You could deactivate the plugin for this time period and activate it again if you are done

deactivating it each time u want to run through a movie does make to much sense to me.

Out of curiosity, would it be possibly in the future for the XBMC plugin to support the calendar on the website?

Even if it's just a basic view with 3 colours:

Red - Item exists in your library but is unwatched
Green - Item exists in your library and is watched
Grey - Item doesn't exist in your library

Green/Red items would then link through to the episode in question.

I tend to use either your library or the one at here to keep a track on what's coming out, what I've seen etc but the ability to combine that into XBMC would be awesome.
