Hi all

I have a problem with this plugin.

I have appletv 2 with XBMC build from june 23rd, latest stable for appletv 2.

The plugin works fine, but I can get it to start automatically when XBMC starts, I always have to do it mannualy.

I already checked they option on the settings, but no luck. Anyone else with this issue?

So there's NOTHING in the logs that helps to explain what it's doing, debug is on, autostart is on, but I can't see any failure around the time I start the playback

is it possible to export my xbmc database watched flags to trakt?

just made an account and tried it with a new episode. that went online just fine. now i got a lot of already watched stuff. would be great if someone could tell me how to sync that info.

you need trakt utilities to do that.. also you will need a nightlie xbmc install since trakt utilities is not compatible iwth the stable dharma build.

@bigbear77 as rflores said, your best bet is to use trakt utilities. If you don't want to use a nightly, there are a few options on the download page to import your history. http://trakt.tv/downloads

Hi there. Great addon for the lazy couchguy. However, i have discovered a "bug".
I am currently using dev builds and betatesting OpenELEC for sraue. This is basicly dharma with a few patches (some for external python, and some to add support for service addons.) But i noticed my box was hanging on shutdown, so i removed my .xbmc dir to get a clean start, and shutdown worked as expected again. Then i added trakt add-on, and shutdown started randomly hanging, all from 10 seconds to 60 seconds before shutting down. This is xbmc waiting for trakt to stop, which it does not do hehe.

@newphreak i thought issues like that were fixed quite a while ago, I remember it coming up earlier in the thread. Just curious, are there any plans for OpenELEC to be based on eden in the future? Then something like trakt utlities becomes a nice possibility.

Great work with the site and the script. I do however have some issues with it.

How do I get it to work properly with several profiles? If set to autostart in the profiles setting.xml it does not. However if I copy the autoexec.py into each profile folder it will work, but with the side effect that I think I get multiple instances of the script running, (causing it to submit to multiple trakt accounts, or even multiple times to the same account). I could work around this if I had a way to kill all instances of the trakt script. Then I could run that before i start up the script (whenever i log in to a different profile).


I also have the problem when running this script on the openelec dist that sometimes it hangs during shutdown, or that it takes a very long time to shutdown. Do you know any workarounds for this?

Solved it with some hacks. Whenever i start trakt I put a token in the xbmc log file, then subsequent attemps to start the script will do nothing if it finds that token in the log file. This keeps one instance of the script running all the time. Then I modified the submit part of the script to always refresh the user settings before submitting anything to trakt. I also had to add the autoexec.py to all profiles that I want to start trakt for.

I've some problem that it's stupid.

When i scrobble some TV i've no problem, it all works perfectly but when i watch a movie when it should submit to trakt it always say bad authentification just before submiting.

You can see that the movie is being watched all the time, until it submits then it dissapears

Happened with 3 diferent movies, and happens ALWAYS since 2 weeks (since july 15).
