jack.mitchell Wrote:I tried the new EmberSetup on a new installation (latest SVN release) my original installation from the original EMM and with both I receive the error:
Code:The type initializer for 'EmberAPI.Master' threw an exception.
Any ideas?
Note to the Devs:
When fixing the Network share write error I encountered something similar... To fix it i added following (Bold) to the project configuration file (in .\trunk\Ember Media Manager\app.config) before compiling:
Quote:<?xml version="1.0"?>
<configuration>
<system.diagnostics>
<sources>
<!-- Dieser Abschnitt definiert die Protokollierungskonfiguration für My.Application.Log -->
<source name="DefaultSource" switchName="DefaultSwitch">
<listeners>
<add name="FileLog"/>
<!-- Auskommentierung des nachfolgenden Abschnitts aufheben, um in das Anwendungsereignisprotokoll zu schreiben -->
<!--<add name="EventLog"/>-->
</listeners>
</source>
</sources>
<switches>
<add name="DefaultSwitch" value="Information"/>
</switches>
<sharedListeners>
<add name="FileLog" type="Microsoft.VisualBasic.Logging.FileLogTraceListener, Microsoft.VisualBasic, Version=8.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a, processorArchitecture=MSIL" initializeData="FileLogWriter"/>
<!-- Auskommentierung des nachfolgenden Abschnitts aufheben und APPLICATION_NAME durch den Namen der Anwendung ersetzen, um in das Anwendungsereignisprotokoll zu schreiben -->
<!--<add name="EventLog" type="System.Diagnostics.EventLogTraceListener" initializeData="APPLICATION_NAME"/> -->
</sharedListeners>
</system.diagnostics>
<startup useLegacyV2RuntimeActivationPolicy="true">
<supportedRuntime version="v4.0" sku=".NETFramework,Version=v4.0"/>
</startup>
<runtime>
<NetFx40_LegacySecurityPolicy enabled="true"/>
</runtime>
</configuration>
It had something to do with me using VS2010 and .NET4 even if the application is configured with .NET 3.5.
Without first, I got a compilation error in one of the Modules.
The second trigered the error you talk about, as System.Data.SQLite would not load and fails application when EmberAPI (which is referencing SQLib) was first called in Ember...
Hope it helps...
