depending on what you want to clone.. in my case I copied my database folder AND thumbnails folder from userdata my mac over to the userdata folder on the atv2. On the mac its located under home\Library\Application Support\XBMC\userdata and on the ATV2 its under var\mobile\Library\Preferences\XBMC\userdata. This got me my movies/tvshows collection AND all the associated thumbnails.

Lifehacker posted earlier about synchronizing XBMC libraries: http://lifehacker.com/5634515/how-to-syn...-the-house.

As it involves MySQL, I'm not entirely positive that there's a solution right now for ATV2.

Update: I just saw this thread: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=91485. The MySQL solution should work.
