Hi,
I'm doing a lot of sound engineering on my home laptop, and it's soft to say that the speakers in that thing are crappy .
Now with the recent developments of, for example, implementations of Airplay possibilities, i'm looking into the option of using the XBMC machine as a sort of "external soundcard". Is there a possibility to pipe my soundoutput from my local laptop to the XBMC machine? I know there will be delays, but since it's not for realtime recording it's not a big issue.
I've been googling my head off, but can't seem to find any references of any kind to what iḿ looking for. I know there are options with pulseaudio, but since my laptop is running on Windows7 thatś going to be very tricky, to near impossible .
Any help, tips, hints, suggestions or complete solutions would be more then welcome!
