[LINUX] Installed on HDD, but usb boot needed
#1
hi,

i just installed xbmcbuntu (ubuntu 10.4 + xbmc 10.0 r35648) everything works except two little things:

1. get a blinking cursor when i remove usb drive (2gb ubuntu is installed on hdd) on boot. Get only in XBMC when boot from usb drive. On the usb drive are a couple of files (boot.cat etc). how do i get to boot from hdd in xbmc without that usb drive?

2. when booting there is a login timeout (3-4 seconds) from ubuntu. How do i change the timeout to 0?

thanks in advance for your help, sorry for my english

sounds like you accidently installed grub to the usb instead of the hd...only way I know to fix it it is to run install in export mode and manually select correct disk.
