There were some individual changes that i had applied to my previous installation of xbmc 10 in relation to hardware decoding issues with anything post 10.6.3. I see 10.1 includes video playing fixes, but just to confirm were all the individual changes from the threads incorporated into 10.1?

I believe so, yes. You an always check the git log (see the link on the homepage).
