ISOs with a VIDEO_TS folder inside are my fav choice for playback with XBMC. I backup DVDs with Fairmount (mac os x) and make ISOs with mkisofs on linux.
Recently I've tried DVDRemaster (mac os x) to extract the movie only from a VIDEO_TS folder (and exclude warnings, trailers, etc). An extracted VIDEO_TS made with DVDRemaster will play without problem on XBMC. But if I make an ISO of it (mkisofs) it will not play! Here is the XBMC debug log for this ISO (play starts at line 396).

Any suggestion what is wrong with these ISOs?
