As it is my first post here, hello! Kodi is great, thank you guys for your hard work on keeping things like that.
Right now I am using Kodi on my Zotac CI320, which I bought to have personal server (torrentbox, ownCloud, file server, calendar syncing and so on) as well as HTPC (connected to my old TV). I did some research and found Kodibuntu. I decided I'd give it a try. It landed on Zotac and behaved quite handsomely, did all the things I expected it to do, but it tends to hang once in a while (every couple of days) without a trace in the logs (syslog). Since I am hosting ownCloud instance for a couple of people, this is both unacceptable and irritating. Since Kodibuntu is based on Lubuntu 14.04, it has rather old kernel and no systemd (I am a fan), I decided to move on to Fedora or openSUSE. There is a great tutorial on turning Fedora into HTPC (http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Install_Kod...n_packages) which can be used with slight modifications on every systemd based system. I was able to get it all working like a charm, except for one thing - I don't have gamepad support. On Kodibuntu I used gamepad, which was fantastic way to control Kodi. Both on Fedora and openSUSE this option is missing https://imgur.com/a/jRfsq , even though my gamepad is properly detected by OS.
I know I am not the only person with similar problem (http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=...ht=gamepad and there are more similar topics) but I would like to solve it. The question is: how can I check, wether Kodi from Fedora (RPMFusion) or openSUSE (packman) has compiled support for gamepads? What should I write on Bugzilla so the packager would know how to fix this? Is there another possible explanation, maybe I should install some additional packages (I installed some additional kernel modules for Fedora, that provided XBox controller support without success)?
