I there a way to use a custom font in an addon. I'll stick with fonts that are already installed on most machines but i've tinkered with making my own font.xml file in my resource folder and am having no success. Anyone done it?

I'm pretty sure you can't do that. When you're doing something like WindowXML in an addon, the parsing done for the XML is a subset of what's available from the skinning engine, and things like custom fonts just for the addon aren't available.

i'm reading that it may be possible by creating a custom skin for the addon? does that sound right?
