I have a downloads folder on a HDD, the other items are TV shows in archive format.

I am able to navigate into the downloads folder, however when I try and enter any folder XBMC freezes and I have to close the process using the task manager.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Turn on debugging and paste a log to pastebin of the error

Does this only happen for sub-folders of your downloads directory?

Thank you for your reply rocketpants, I took a look and found it is only folders which contain rar archives that crash.

I have also read a few more posts about character handling for _ ' etc, I have removed anything with those in the name and will test again.
