Anyone?
Does nobody know or is nobody willing to help as I'm a bit thick where this sort of thing is concerned?
We don't discuss illegal addons here. Read the forum rules!

For the problem with the movie in your db (if i got you right) - try the clean option in system->video->database. It will remove all entries from the DB it can't access.
Sorry, I didn't know that it was an illegal addon. Sad

Is the BBC iPlayer a legal or illegal add-on?

Thanks, I'll try that when I get home and see what happens.
iPlayer is legal

Cool. Smile

How do I get it? and is it within xbmc or does it add it's own icon to the home screen?
This page should get you going: Add-on:iPlayer (wiki)
Thank you. Smile
Help Please..

I've got my hands on a second Apple TV which I've been able to Jailbreak and I'm now trying to set it up. I have xbmc installed. I'm trying to add my movies and TV episodes by "Adding network location" like I did with my last one but it's not playing ball...

When I enter the location, shared folder, username and password details I get an Unable to connect message...

"XBMC was unable to connect to the network location. This could be due to the network not being connect... Would you like to add it anyway?"

Again, I'm using a Time Capsule but I'm using it as a wireless HDD only and Wireless network is set up. Am I correct in thinking that I don't need the internet set up on the TC and can use it without? The Apple TV is connected to the internet by Airport Extreme...
Well thanks for your help. I'll know where not to come in the future. Sad

Turns out I had to set up the internet on the Time Capsule which is not what I wanted to do at all. Sad

Rude mutch? The issue is not even xbmc related, and you nag about not getting help after 17 hours?
How was I to know that xbmc required me to have the internet set up on my TC? I presumed it would use the internet from the Airport Extreme that the Apple TV was using. I didn't want to set up the internet on the TC as I just wanted to use it as a wireless hard disc which I thought would have been more than possible. Maybe there is, but I don't know how to do it, hence why I was asking here.
