Wouldn't it be easier to implement :
if a widget is focused and BACK button pressed -> execute a STOP command and then execute the BACK command
It does not matter if the trailer is playing or not, because :
- trailer playing : will first stop the trailer and then go back to either the begin of the widget or to the main menu (depending on the settings you just added to the config)
- trailer not playing : the stop won't do anything and you directly go to the begin of the widget or main menu
maybe I oversimplify things ?
Thats not possible, there is no onback action triggered, except goto fullscreen, when player has media...
Would it be possible to To make tmdb helper button play similar tv shows ?

Includes.xml
((Movie)) override.play
Skin.HasSetting(extended.info.override.play)">RunPlugin(plugin://plugin.video.themoviedb.helper?info=play&tmdb_id=$INFO[Container(90051).ListItem.Property(TMDb_ID)]&type=movie)
((Tv shows)) override.play
Skin.HasSetting(extended.info.override.play)">PlayMedia($INFO[Container(10051).ListItem.Property(file)])
It’s possible to add for tv shows
RunPlugin(plugin://plugin.video.themoviedb.helper/?info=play&tmdb_id=$INFO [Container(10051).ListItem.Property(TMDb_ID)]&season=1&episode=1&type=episode)
I have a little problem with a widget.
I have 2 folders with movies in my video library. "Movies Kids" for kids and "Movies" for parents.
If i add a widget (Widget 1), Video Library > , Sources > , "Movies kids" folder as widget i see only generated thumb from the movie and not the poster art.
Also problem for "TV Shows Kids" but there is see only for one tv show the poster art and others with a standard white movie symbol.
If i go directly to the library of these folder all tv shows and movies correct scraped with poster art.
Second the widgets ignores my advancedsettings.xml ignores! ^^
I still see these two exclamations in the widgets but not in file listings/library!
Code:
<regexp>\@eaDir</regexp>
<regexp>\Thumbs.db</regexp>

IMHO for your need the best practice is to use your own playlist where you can settings type "movies" or "tvshows" and the path for each "Kid" or "Parent"
With that AZR and widgets works like a charm
mhh, why playlist? It's not really comfortable to edit playlist if new files arrived or miss understanding you?
Ok not really helpful but on LE9 Kodi Leia it works absolutly fine.

After a time of testing from me and by users and if everything works fine, they will be merged into master
