Maybe you should try to download the file again and rename it, or restart Kodi before installing it. Maybe this helps?

I see the genre in the movie views but not in the widgets.

I have activated autotrailer in the skin. When the trailer starts and I go back, it continues to run in the background. The whole thing is in the tmdb helper addon. But not in the main menu. Is it wanted like that? Or can I disable that? So when I go back the trailer stops

If you go back, do you have the same viewtype as before, where the trailer began to start?
I was able to reproduce this issue. I dont know, if this can be fixed. I will try.

I did some tests. I will try to implement that as an option, but I can't promise anything.
I loaded the Arctic:Zephyr - Reloaded right from the Kodi skin and got a POPUP saying "something" didn't load, it may have said skin shortcuts? But not sure as it disappeared quickly... now I have this BLANK SCREEN and don't know how to get back out to default skin... this is on an Apple TV, I have the same skin on my Chromecast and it works perfect... any ideas to fix or to get back to default?

There are several ways, you can try to get to the default skin, sure. You can:
- try to press "back"
- try to press "S" if you have a keyboard, to show the power menu, from which you can go to skin settings
- open the guisettings.xml, located in userdata folder, search for
<setting id="lookandfeel.skin">skin.arctic.zephyr.mod</setting>, delete the line, save the file, restart kodi
- delete the guisettings.xml file, located in userdata folder, restart kodi
- delete the script-skinshortcuts-includes.xml file, located in addons\skin.arctic.zephyr.mod\1080i folder, restart kodi
- try to delete the skin.arctic.zephyr.mod folder, located in addons, restart kodi
