@locomot1f -- I'm not sure what you mean? I just made it so that the weather menu item is no longer hard-coded to be weather so that it could be customised to whatever people like (and have its own submenu). If you want it to be weather you just go to 'manage custom home items' click on that main menu category, choose configure and select the weather item for it. Same thing goes for the widget.
The only reason it disappears on the update is because the properties are not set for it and I didn't want to force a re-intialisation on everyone because then everyone would lose their existing settings.
