I went back to 0.3.7 and I don't have a problem with it. Sacrifice one of those toy dogs that bark too much. They are annoying.

Thank you for this awesome plugin. I've installed it yesterday, and it tooke me a couple of hourse to understand how to get it to work with local media.
What I did, eventually, is added channels via the channel manager (which is pretty bad, because using the up and down buttons doesn't do anything until you press them couple of times... this is what wasted most of my time understanding what the hell is wrong with me Smile

)

Anyway - my questions is -

Is there a way to automatically create channels for local media (scraped content)? (Random gernres are also good), or do I have to manually do it through the channel manager? I am using gotham RC1
I want some channels only for movies, some only for tv, some mixed, etc

Yes, in settings use autotune. It's a donor feature

Quick question regarding refresh rates and this plugin. The majority of my content is 24p and I have XBMC set to Adjust display refresh rate to match video.

When using PseudoTV Live with the VideoWindow patch, opening the EPG changes the display to 60 Hz and selecting a show changes it back to 24. Slightly annoying because there is a few seconds delay between the refresh changes.

When using PsuedoTV Live without the VideoWindow patch, the EPG is displayed properly over the content playing at 24p, however it doesn't work consistently and often times changing channels results in the content playing at 60Hz instead of 24p (ignoring my Adjust display refresh rate to match video XBMC settings).

I would be happy to provide any logs necessary if you have time to look into this further. Thanks!

I'm having a bit of trouble with using smart playlist with strm files. I've created all my playlists and went into the GUI to add the channels into PSTV, I created the first channel (BBC), but certain shows don't say what the episode name is, it just displays the show title (correctly) with (se01e01.strm) in the EPG

Some shows so everything including the show name and episode name, I'm stumped. Any ideas?

This isn't something I can fix. It's an issue with XBMC. Wither or not VideoWindow can or can't play in 24p, I don't know. But having your refresh changing by content isn't ideal for Pseudotv. Try changing the change refresh from play/stop to always... otherwise there is no fix.

Yea, that's the odd part. The .strm files themselves haven't been renamed (he Sun S01E03.strm) but the files in XBMC show the correct ep names

im not following the problem...

Filename has nothing to do with PTVL smartplaylists. PTVL parses smartplaylists. Can you explain in Detail... what u want and what u r getting.
