Was there a fix for the "dependencies not met" error when installing PTVL? I was reading through a bit yesterday but didn't see anything.

I tried installing it on Gotham 13.1 and I get that error, but had no problem installing it on my Gotham 13 machine.

I even tried unzip the file and placing the folder where it needed to be but that didn't work
I also installed all of the dependencies in post #1 as well and that did not work.

It's covered in the very first post under the heading "Dependencies".

- Can pseudotv grab OTA EPG content? This is my ideal setting. XBMC is doing this fine through the LiveTV area.

Excellent work Lunatixz!! The inbuilt BCT's are working correctly now and the channels are building fast again.
The only problematic thing for me is the artwork. PTVL no longer seems to use my local artwork anymore but instead downloads it. I have a lot of movies and shows so it will impact the EPG whilst browsing. When looking for artwork there is a 5-10 second pause. I noticed a user mentioning disabling dynamic artwork. I tried this and the EPG is very fast after, but there is no artwork at all.

So from what I have read in recent posts if I am understanding properly, with dynamic artwork enabled PTVL is supposed to use local artwork and if it is not found download from the internet? (Mine seems to be downloading all artwork from the internet)
With dynamic artwork disabled there is no artwork displayed?

My ....\cache\artwork folder should be empty, but there is already artwork in there that I already have. I am just puzzled to why it seems to be downloading all the artwork, when all artwork should already be available from my library.

If I may make a suggestion. How about when you set the Background Artwork Cache Spooling and Downloader to on all artwork is disabled (dynamic art disabled) until it has completed. This would mean that the guide will be fast at all times, even if the updater is not complete.

PTVL has been running for a few hours now and I have yet to be notified that it has completed the background artwork. Maybe the current method used will take a LOT longer for me since I have a freakishly big library.

Please correct me if I have got anything wrong and as always keep up the excellent work Luna and everyone else who has contributed. PTVL keeps getting better and better!

I have just noticed background spooling occurs outside PTVL, It runs but an error comes up a few seconds later. Will post a log if this keeps occuring.

I have the same problem with my artwork. I just spent the last few days after work replacing artwork I didnt like with artwork I do like manually (poster, clearart, logos) and making sure I have a poster, clearart, and logo for all movies. Took me a nice long, long time going through 350 folders, haha. So when I started seeing artwork that I didnt personally choose, I knew something was up. Im using an altered version of Titian that uses clearart on the overlay and poster and logo on the EPG. Its downloading everything, and using nothing I already have. I reverted back to about a 2 month old PTVL (not home and cant check the version) and its back to loading my artwork correctly. I was going to do a fresh install of xbmc to see if it helped, but with others having some issues too, I might hold off (and I forgot I have to go to my newphews bday party today so I probably would have time anyway)

Are you saying that PTVL is downloading different cleararts then you had in your library? I ask because for me 4.6 isn't downloading anything but what it is doing is using the fanarts that I have in my folders rather than the landscapes like it is supposed to.

I'm just curious if you are getting cleararts like you want and the problem is just that you are getting the wrong cleararts or if you are getting fanarts like I am seeing.

Sorry, might be that I'm using wrong names for things. I try to clarify

Use the playlist in PTVL as a base of the channel. But PTVL didn't scheduled to play any trailers in between episodes at that channel altough I think I had enabled all the right settings. But, at same time on autotuned channels; trailers were schedule between all the episodes just as I had selected from the settings.

are you force channel resetting after adding a channel or changing BCT settings?

because bct's won't add to playlist until a new m3u is created. and new m3u's are either made if force channel reset, or if the channel grows old and PTVL needs to add new media.
I'll add code to help bct's get added without a reset.

I am not sure where it is getting the artwork from. But judging from the delay it seems to be from the internet. Plus some of the artwork it is getting is different from mine. Some is even in what looks like German. The screenshot below shows a different poster for bates motel. The top window is the local art and the bottom one that is highlighted is what was downloaded.



Also not having much luck with the automated background spooling feature. It just fails for me, forcing me to download the art when selecting show/movie in the EPG.

One last thing that worries me is the size of the artwork folder once all my media is cached. It has already reached 67 mbs with 307 jpg's and png's and it has hardly cached anything as far as my collection goes. I estimate it to be in the gigabytes by the time it is done!

I don't know if this has been asked before, but how do I adjust the time offset in the EPG for USTVnow?

My guide is showing the USTVnow channels with the times as if I was in US East Coast time. My local time is 7 hours later than than that, so the guide is off by 7 hours for me. In the USTVnow plugin, the guide has the correct programming for the times displayed.

How do I set a time offset in the channel configuration, so the correct shows appear in the guide for my current local time?

Same problem for me. However, all my old problems are fixed (default skin not working, automatic update not working, epg problems). My issue now is that it only seems to download artwork when an item is highlighted in the EPG, which is making the EPG extremely laggy. Also, as someone above said, with the size of my collection, i'm extremely concerned about the final size of that folder. Especially since the cache is on my SSD.

Is it possible to change the 'On Now' image from landscape.jpg to fanart.jpg?

It seems like 75%+ of my movies don't have a landscape image (even well known titles), but all have fanart.
