Not sure how lite you can make a skin, if you are running on a lightweight system the skin won't matter as much as disabling the system taxing settings., I've already listed those settings in a previous post...
after disabling those settings your system is still slow? My pi runs PTVL pretty well...

I probably misworded. It is a skin that is designed for those using light-weight settings. So, for example, since low-power users will not have dynamic artwork enabled, this skin allows for the user to have XBMC's artwork for the Info pop-up rather than an empty picture where the dynamic art would go. It also, in my experience, is faster than the EPG than any of the default skins...not sure why, but it is. Basically, it's not light-weight, but it keeps light-weight users in mind.

Here is a link to the skin...I would really appreciate feedback. By the way, the name is TOTALLY a work in progress...BluBerry, Blueerry, Pie, Pi, Raspberry Pi...yeah, it's a bad name.

I really don't have much that I can contribute to the project...other than bumpers, there's nothing that I really know of that I can add to the community list. So, this is my way of giving back to the PTVL community.

hey luna,

just a thought, i think that the problem with the livetv chtype9 is that at load PSTL seems to seek forward but it's live....

btw: 2 addons that used to work in previous versions stopped working with 0.4.9

funniermoments and videobash, both i grabbed from the community list.

1 more question:

Does it lock up PTVL or does it not build the channel? I think the plugins comunity list settings needs updating to the new format? Please send me those two plugins so I can test it out... Thanks

Yes

I'll look into it, but its really a xbmc skin and PseudoTV Live skin change not a global setting.

Looks cool, are you using the same non dynamic artwork code (Using video.player art) I had in my prior skins? Or did you come up with something new? Any chance you can add the dynamic artwork code to your skin?

It won't effect speed because the code is disabled when dynamic art is disabled. Essential its treated like its not there.

Which is why I mentioned earlier that making a skin "lightweight" really isn't possible because its already trimmed down. Leaving out dynamic artcode and disabling in settings is the same thing.

I also noticed popup overlay was removed, what performance issues we're you having with it?

1. for the livetv problem: the channel is build, when switching to that channel i get an image and "seeking 17:00....or something", PVTL is not stuck, i can switch channels.
2. i didnt autotuned, i use those channel long ago, now i updated the settings for those channels to the new format but they got stuck on building the channels and everything is stuck.
here are the addons: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/201601/addons.zip

Information
I can not add custom playlists to PTVL, I have created several different playlists and can not find them when trying to add channels. I have created them in XBMC itself and VLC and saved it in every format VLC will allow and still I can not add them.

What does VLC have to do with XBMC? Read posts 1-3 and milkman's guide to PseudoTV

It's safe to say you didn't read the first three posts of this thread...

you need to create the playlists in xbmc, not VLC

That was what I was trying to explain all this time!!! All have on auto tune is from the community list, and a lot of addons don't work and it won't finish adding plugins

Yesterday I disabled Espn video, cnet podcast, funnier moments ,twit, video bash, wimp, just to name a few, they were all listed on the community post, and when it was on autu tune kept getting stuck trying to add them!!thats the reason I said there sould be an option to skip the plugin if its not working on the moment an not just stare at the tv for hours whatching it being stuck

How do you expect Lunatixz to code ptvl to know if other add-ons are broken? It is up to the add-on dev to maintain and keep them in working order. You should try manually creating a settings2.xml to see if you have any issues.

This addon is never going to be popular with so many people not wanting to contribute to make this addon more user friendly,, it seems who ever got this thing working has a super system and it's not interested if the general public gets it working or not!! No ideas accepted only denials! The truth is that this is the more complex addon in the whole xbmc and the thousand of people that have either an android system or ios won't get support,
