So I've compiled the a checkout from this morning, and playing an iso with menus does not work. without menus the iso's play fine. currently they're located on a nas so it may just be taking it's time but playing the main title seems to work fine. This is compiled with the --enable-libbluray configuration, and version .6.2 of the library from a ppa with openjdk 7.

Isos must be mounted and, if you want to help, you need to use/compile libbluray master.

New win32 build: http://mirrors.kodi.tv/test-builds/win32...4f-bdj.exe
You need to extract the attached zip into the folder "system/players/dvdplayer"

As said before bdj menus don't work for isos. You need to mount them.

The very same 3 files come with your distributive. Why do we need to add them manually?

Because two of them are not the very same, but build from libbluray master. I'll remove the third one in future updates.

Ok, thanks for the explanation and your work.Smile

I've been following this thread for a very long time, never posted anything but I don't know anything about compiling libbluray, anyway I have about 350 Blu-rays in iso format and it's great to see the progress that has been made, I just did a few tests now, mounting the isos of course and things are looking really good, still a bit buggy here and there but overall the progress is looking really promising can't wait until the bugs are sorted and iso playback is achieved!

Thanks for the feedback! Iso menus might take a long time to implement.

I'm not having too much luck with the build in Post #200 with respect to playing BR folders. Selecting the 'show BR menu' option, I could only get one rip (Edge of Tomorrow) to play. Most just hung.

Mad Scientist, , I find that mounting an image works better sometimes than playing BR folders directly, for example The Avengers will only show the menu when it's mounted, even then it's still a bit buggy, but for a lot of movies I found the menus worked well even when playing from BR Folders, examples would be: 28 days later, AI artificial Intelligence, 2001 a space odyssey, A beautiful Mind and Back To The Future Collection. just FYI.

Thanks for the feedback. However, all my rips are folders so I can't do much testing.

Interesting, can you provide a minimal sample of that disc? You can rip out the menu (most of the time) with Clown_BD BD Copier for example.
